Guarantee and Aftercare

13.1 All items are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase with the following exceptions (detailed 13-15) so please retain your receipt.

13.2 Although diamonds are the hardest known natural mineral and virtually scratch resistant, even they are not indestructible. It is therefore sensible to remove all gemstone and sea-glass jewellery during sports or during any form of manual work. A heavy knock can break a gemstone or damage the setting. Refunds will not be made for Jewellery damaged in this way.

Care of Silver

14.1 Silver is a beautiful and affordable metal but it does tarnish over time. Sterling Silver jewellery forms an oxidised layer (tarnish) over time and this process is accelerated when it has come into contact with chemicals or grease.

Avoid spraying perfumes or cosmetics directly onto the surface of any jewellery and take silver items off to go swimming or when using household cleaners containing bleach. If chemicals get behind a stone set in silver the silver can tarnish behind the stone where it is not possible to clean.

Always clean your jewellery with a silver polishing cloth before putting it back in your jewellery box and preferably keep it in a sealed bag.

To return a matt finish to your silver after cleaning gently rub with fine sand paper.

14.2 Returns cannot be made for tarnished silver.

Care of Sea-glass Jewellery

15.1 When wearing or caring for your sea glass jewellery, use extra care and remember it is glass. If dropped on a hard surface it can crack, chip, or break.

The naturally pitted surface of sea-glass will overtime pick up oils from your skin. These can be removed by gentle rubbing with a damp cotton bud with a small amount of surgical spirit.

15.2 Returns cannot be made for broken sea-glass. tarnished silver or dirty sea-glass.
